Announcement of Performance/Installation from Jamie Brown

 

This Thursday, March 8, I will be cleaning and polishing the staircase that leads to the chimes at the top of Phelps-Stokes Chapel with hand-woven cloth. My final action will be to wash the cloth and hang it to dry. The performance will begin at 12:00 pm and end just before the evening Convocation (7:45 pm). A rough schedule of the performance is as follows:

12:00-pm-3:00pm – Scrubbing the stairs.

3:00-7:15pm – Polishing the stairs.

7:15-7:45pm – Washing and hanging cloth.

Please do not try to speak with me during the performance and be respectful of classes that may be going on nearby.
